Dream #2 - Outbreak
(Email to Ariel)
I was in downtown Huntsville around party time. Neal, Aubrey, and Rachel were there. (Aubrey wasn't like he was in the first dream)... The place was deserted. There were newspapers flying down the streets and all the electricity was out. There had been an outbreak of a mysterious disease that you eventually died from. Somehow I just knew this stuff. We were the only ones in the world that didn't have it. We parked in a parking lot to figure out what we were going to do. I suggested that we all go live in the woods away from all these diseased people. No one else really agreed except Aubrey, which the answer was fuzzy.
We decided to go and head for the country. Before we could leave the parking lot, the people that had parked next to us were getting into their car. I was so afraid that we were going to get attacked or something and catch the disease. All that was wrong with them was that they had little red dots all over their bodies which resembled pimples or measles. I was thinking that I didn't want my face to look like that. After trying to start my car a couple times, it finally started and we headed out. The next thing I remember was we were staying with a family of four, including two teenage or so girls. They had the disease, but didn't act any different than if you didn't have it. We were all trying to figure out what caused it.
We were served breakfast and I was afraid to eat it. I was afraid of germs that were on the jellies and silverware. I didn't want my face to look like that. It looked itchy and painful. After eating my meal (very carefully), one of the girls brought out a medical book and looked up the mysterious disease that everyone in the world had but us. OK...a mysterious outbreak of a disease in the books already... WHATEVER!!! Just tell me what causes it. She said that it wasn't caused by it being airborne, or touching things that were touched by the mysterious disease-carriers. It was caused from... COMPLAINING! WTF??!!! I was trying to think back at the last time I complained. I was running things threw my head trying not to complain in my mind. I was wondering if that would affect my health, also, I was thinking of when I complained in my mind that I didn't want to eat this nasty germ-infected food, but I ate it anyway. I was confused.
Then I felt the fever coming on. Uh, oh.... I HAD complained, but of what I couldn't remember.
I wish I could go on with this story, but the freakin' alarm went off.
